World Vision is an international relief organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Serving close to 100 million people in nearly 100 countries around the world, World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. The millions of people World Vision serves include earthquake and hurricane survivors, abandoned and exploited children, survivors of famine and civil war, refugees, and children and families in communities devastated by AIDS in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

 

100% of the funds raised at Hoops of Hope All-Star Events will be passed along to World Vision and used in transformation projects in twelve African communities: Zamtan, Zambia; Makungwa, Zambia; Mbala, Zambia; Twachiyanda, Zambia; Sinagongwe, Zambia; Kapululwe, Zambia; Adama & Quacha Bira, Ethiopia; Nyamagabe, Rwanda; Uganda; Ching’anda, Malawi; Mwingi, Kenya; Angola.
