Event Overview
Hoops of Hope All-Stars is the World’s Largest Free Throw Festival that will be touring 12 US cities beginning in April through August 2010. 36,000 free throw shooters and more than 100,000 attendees are expected to raise over 6 million dollars to help AIDS orphans and their communities in Africa by providing clean water, health clinics, schools and economic development.
Each day-long event features 3,000 registered shooters, shooting 500 free throws each, along with plenty of fun for the whole family to enjoy. To keep the crowd on its feet and the shooters energized, bands will rock on the outdoor stages throughout the day leading up to the All-Stars Concert for The Cause at night.
Each event includes:
150 courts filled with 3,000 free throw shooters
12 courts for competitive 3-on-3 Basketball tournament
Outdoor Music Stages
Family Fun Kidz Zone
Education and Information Center
Vendor Plaza and Food Court
While there is a registration fee to participate in the shooting, anyone can attend the Festival for free.
